Bookmark Design: The Art of Ella DuCane from Nicecrane Designs

http://nicecranedesigns.com/

Hello to you all again on this fine Friday.  Thankfully, I've managed to put together another creation this month for Nicecrane Designs featuring a couple of beautiful vintage images from the Ella Du Cane Bookmarks collection.

Here are my bookmark and the details...

General Information:

  • While these bookmarks come with a coloured version for the front and a sort of sepia tone for the back, I've decided to use only the coloured portion and allow my textured paper to serve as a plain background.

BOOKMARK 1

BOOKMARK 2
Digital Image Details:
  • Ella Du Cane Bookmarks:  Both of these bookmarks were created with templates from the Ella Du Cane Bookmark set.  For this first one, I used the image you see on the farthest left.  The second bookmark was created using the image on the farthest right. Click on the name or the watermark below to take you to its location in the store.

OVERALL
Paper Products:

  • The base of each of the bookmarks was created with Michael's Recollection's Cardstock, white.
  • The background for the bookmark is Michael's open stock scrapbook paper.
Wool:
  • Wool for the top is from our stash.
Punch:
  • I used a star shaped Crafts brand punch, purchased at Dollarama, to create the hole in each bookmark.
Challenges I am hoping to enter...

Before I go...
Once again I thought I would share another wonderful set available at Nicecrane's Designs.  Sticking with the bookmark theme, check out these fun Flower Children Bookmarks.  This set contains three vintage flower children images that would make fun bookmarks for both children and flower lovers alike.  Be sure to go and check them out while you are at the store (c
lick on image below to head to its location).

Don't forget, to stay current on ALL the latest releases and to check out the fabulous inspiration from my fellow DT members, be sure to head over to the Nicecrane Designs blog.

I am so happy that you had a chance to pop by and check out my latest creation.  This weekend I'll be showing you one more of my DT projects and then it is time to get several creations and posts ready for June 1st.  See you all again tomorrow.

Until then,
